Merry Christmas!
Andrew and Jen wish you a very merry Christmas from snowy Washington! If things continue to go as planned, we will be packed up and headed for Lima, Peru in about 5 weeks. Although we will miss our friends and family back in the states, we know these are the plans God has for us, plans to grow and stretch us as we serve in South America and explore His beautiful creation. We arrive in Lima about midnight, Jan. 23/early AM Jan. 24. Our plan is to work our way south via bus, through Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, and La Paz, Bolivia before reaching Cochabamba around Feb. 14 (which we will call "homebase" for the following 4 months). Then, sometime around June 20, we'll leave Cochabamba and head out to explore Bolivia and beyond before returning to Lima, Peru. And as long as the money doesn't run out, we arrive back in Seattle on Aug. 6! We look forward to using this blog as a way to stay in touch with family and friends, as well as keep you up to date on our adventures. Thank you for your love and prayers as we take a little leap of faith in 2008!

You are so amazing!! We love to hear of your brave adventures, and are so thankful you stopped by to visit us here in Entiat. If you can take the leaps of faith to go to Bolivia, we can jump in the lake with you!! Yikes, yes!! Lake Chelan - here we come!!! (more later tonight - if we survive ;)
