Fish restaurants and other silly things

Last weekend we also took the Hogar de Amor kids to a crazy restaurant outside of Cochabamba that served good fish and had activities for kids on a ¨lake,¨that was really the dammed backwaters of another bigger brown lake. The kids had a great time and we did too...here´s Andrew on the zipline chair with one of the littlest ones (check out the brown water background)...the place did have paddleboats, giant slides, and other toys for kids, but they liked the zipline best (only 50 cents per kid...who can beat that?).

reminds me of some of the lakes i swam in in oklahoma when i was a kid. always afraid to put my feet down - mud - deep mud, and snakes and snapping turtles. made swimming a real adventure! how did you find it? Cheers!! ART

We didn´t actually get in the water...but I almost jumped in after a 3 year old that came very close to falling in. Thus a warning to all - don´t let me care for your three year olds near water!! I do remember swimming in the "pond" near ?? Meadows (near our house in Dale)...it was the only time I have experienced leeches...hopefully the last time.
