This is the view from the roof of our hostal in in Arequipa. We have had our breakfast on the roof the last two mornings and catch glimpses of some of the local peaks. It is the rainy season now, so I doubt we will ever see the whole mountain while we are here, but it is around 18,000 feet high. We are currently at 8,200 feet.2/2/08
