Carnival just started here. We were fortunate to be on the roof when a parade went by. Here is Jen and one of the workers at the hostal we are staying at looking down at the end of the parade. Notice the empty bucket by their side - it is tradition to throw water...and a variety of other things at people during carnival. We have already been hit a couple of times, but not bad.

Okay Andrew and Jen your excusion is rubbing off of the staff here. Kevin and Rachel are leaving in April to serve on a Mercy Ship in Africa. Exciting for them, sad for us!
Glad you guys are having a great time. You left in time to miss the cold that has been running rampant here in the building.
